Introducing Kairi Yen Nguyen. Kairi was born February 26, 2007 at 2:42PM at St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
Kairi was born 6 pounds, 13 ounces and at 19 inches long.
Kairi's parent are Nga Nguyen and Jason Myers.
When Kairi was born, we were overjoyed by our beautiful little girl. She was perfect. She had all 10 fingers and all 10 toes. She hardly cried. She was passing all of her tests... until we got to the hearing exam.
The hospital performed the hearing exam multiple times on Kairi. And after about an hour of trying, Kairi was getting a consistent "referral" on her left ear. A referral result on these initial tests mean that she will need to go into an audiologist and do more extensive testing.
We will have to wait and see what the audiologist tells us of Kairi's condition.
